Brad Millington
Brad Millington is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sport Management at Brock University. His research takes a social sciences approach in exploring two main areas of focus: 1) sport and the environment, including topics such as the history of corporate environmentalism in golf and sport and environmental politics; and 2) sport media and technology, including topics such as sports analytics and wearable fitness technology. He is the author of Fitness, Technology, and Society: Amusing Ourselves to Life (2018), co-author of The Greening of Golf: Sport, Globalization and the Environment (2016, with Brian Wilson), and co-editor of Sport and the Environment: Politics and Preferred Futures (2020, with Brian Wilson). His research has received funding from Sport Canada and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
